Routine and creativity almost feel as if they are opposites. That being creative is anything but routine. But the idea behind Everyday Creative, isn’t just that everything and everyone is creative, but also about the idea to do something creative every day.
This doesn’t have to be a lofty creative goal. You don’t have to actually create something. You could read something creative. You could look at something you see every day in a creative light. Or even simply, a moment in the day that felt good. Where you felt good.
You could do something more tangible. Such as building a routine to create opportunities for creativity. Such as taking a walk. Going to a museum. Flipping through a book with pictures. Even doing your everyday tasks and chores can provide opportunities for creativity. Opportunities to see in a new way.
So I challenge you, to find something creative in your routine.
Yours in Creativity,
Bridgitte
To sit with a dog on a hillside
on a glorious afternoon
is to be back in Eden,
where doing nothing was
not boring. It was peace.
